Nothing is perfect, nothing is finished, and nothing lasts forever. Not even when you limit yourself to just two colors and an age-old printing technique. Perfect, finished, nothing more to do – that's not possible. Yet, I keep trying. Getting better each time. Working in black and white gives me a lot of satisfaction: finding a solution with as few means as possible. A solution to express what I can't articulate well about the randomness of suffering and joy, about beauty and ugliness, good and bad.
